The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center is a state of the art veterinary hospital providing emergency and referral services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We pride ourselves on maintaining a highly trained staff of doctors and veterinary technicians. Our entire staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care available for our patients. We are an emergency and referral only hospital and no general practice services or products are offered.
The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center is staffed by emergency doctors and board certified specialists in the following areas: Emergency/Critical Care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology. Please refer to our calendar for dates and additional information on scheduling appointments with our specialists.
Veterinary Emergency Referral Center accepts emergency and referral cases 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our emergency doctors are available overnights, weekends and holidays to provide emergency, surgical and medical procedures. Common emergencies include, dog fight injuries, bite wounds, allergic reactions, cuts or lacerations, snake bites, hit by car, vomiting, heat stroke, seizures and many other pet emergencies.

Companion animals of all shapes, sizes and breeds may qualify to be blood donors. Cats must be between 1 and 8 years old and weigh at least 10 pounds. Dogs must be between 1 and 7 years old and weigh at least 50 pounds. Much like humans, cats and dogs have a variety of blood types. Pets with universal blood types, who meet all donor criteria, may be placed on the donor list. Our wonderful donors and their families are called in once every 60-90 days for either a donation by appointment or for an immediate emergency donation.
