Dogs Rescue in Cincinnati

AT THIS TIME WE ARE COMPLETELY FULL WITH A WAITING LIST. We are a small rescue organization trying to make a difference by giving some wonderful German Shepherds a second chance for the life they deserve. Our primary focus is saving German Shepherds, but we believe that all good dogs deserve the best help we can give them. Because so many of our dogs have come from shelters where they have been picked up as strays, a fenced yard is one of our adoption requirements. AT THIS TIME, BECAUSE OF THE HIGH VOLUME OF GERMAN SHEPHERDS CURRENTLY IN SHELTERS WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE ANY OWNER SURRENDERS. HOWEVER, IF THE DOG IS SPAYED/NEUTERED WE WILL OFFER A COURTESY POSTING ON PETFINDER TO REHOME YOUR DOG. NOTE: Owners wishing to surrender their GSD will be required to have their dog heartworm tested prior to consideration of being taken into our program. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are a small organization that does not have the resources or funds to treat. We also only take in purebred German Shepherds. Papers are not required.
