Dog for sale Orlando
The original Dog Day Afternoon, Inc. opened in 1999 as Orlando’s first daycare for dogs. In early 2014, the business was purchased by Wonder Dog, LLC. We are a family business, locally owned and operated. Our General Manager and part owner, Anna Waldrop had over 11 years experience working for Dog Day Afternoon, Inc. and is committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence within our industry. We are still doing business as “Dog Day Afternoon” and are very excited about all of our ongoing improvements and future plans! Our 9000+ sq ft indoor facility with multiple outdoor play yards is constantly being revamped, refreshed and updated. Our staff of more than 20 wonderful employees love being part of our “Dog Day Family”! Together we create a safe, loving environment for our dogs that is their home away from home. Trust our doggie day care Orlando with your four-legged family members!
Our Location
Conveniently located in South Downtown (SODO) Orlando near Orlando Regional Medical Center, the Orlando Citrus Bowl, Amway Center, Bob Car Theater, and major employers. Dog Day Afternoon features 9000 square feet of indoor space and over 9000 square feet of outdoor space. Our climate controlled building is staffed 24/7 and offers separate indoor playrooms for small and large dogs, private “apartments” for our overnight guests and webcams so you can watch your pup enjoying his day at our doggie day care Orlando.
Anna Waldrop, Chief Dog Wrangler
Anna is part owner and General Manager of Dog Day Afternoon. She has been working with dogs since 2003, when she joined the Dog Day Afternoon, Inc. team as a college student. From playrooms to the front desk, she’s done it all!
In 2014, with the sale of Dog Day Afternoon Inc. to Wonder Dog LLC, Anna embraced a new challenge and opportunity. You will now often see her (sometimes with kids in tow) handling the day to day operations of Dog Day with a smile on her face and the help of her amazing team of rockstar employees.
