Florida little Dog Rescue Orlando

Meet Wink, winner of the 2016 My Best Friend Wine Label contest. "Wink" is a 4 1/2 year old one-eyed Bichon. She was barely a week old when she was dropped off at animal control. The wonderful people at Florida Little Dog Rescue saved her and she found her way into our hearts a few weeks later. Proceeds from the My Best Friend contest voting and wine sales benefit the programs at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to help and heal pets and people, saving lives at both ends of the leash. The 2013 “My Best Friend” pours a deep garnet color with dark purple hues. Aromas of ripe plum, cherry licorice, and sassafras lead into a palate of black raspberry, red licorice, and French oak. Notes of cracked black pepper and cumin are also present. The pleasant mouthfeel extends to the lengthy finish with more plum, cherry cola, and a touch of milk chocolate.
