Dog adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog and you'll have a friend for life! Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA.
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
Our group of volunteer foster homes spans the North East, and our adoption territory extends from Maine to eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and parts of northern Maryland. Once an adopter is approved, we arrange transportation. We do not adopt dogs beyond our territory.About Our Rescue Group:
Eskies Online is a 501(c)(3) Multibreed rescue group that serves unwanted American Eskimos and other dogs in need and finds qualified, permanent, adoptive homes for them. In the foster home environment, we are able to evaluate the dog's temperament and behavior patterns away from the stress of shelter life. Eskies Online is funded entirely through adoption fees, donations and the generosity our volunteers.Come Meet our Pets:
Adoption meetings are arranged by appointment with approved applicants. Our Adoption Process:
When we receive your completed application we will check your references, including your veterinarian, and then call you to discuss your situation and requirements.. If you are approved for adoption, we can then discuss with you which of the dogs might fit best into your life. We will either arrange for you to visit the dog in its foster home, by appointment, or transport the dog to your home.To help cover the veterinary expenses of our foster Eskies and to support our rescue effort, Eskies Online will charge you an adoption fee of $350.00. We do not sell dogs. We charge a flat fee-whether the Eskie is a puppy or an older dog; whether it came to us with minimal veterinary needs or requiring major medical care; whether the Eskie makes a short or a long stay in our foster system.
