Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We serve primarily the Mid-Cities area, to include Hurst, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, Keller, Watauga, Richland Hills, Euless, Bedford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Irving, Coppell, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Kennedale and Arlington.About Our Rescue Group:
We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets who are at risk of euthanasia at local shelters by placing them into foster homes while they await their forever homes. We are completely run by volunteers who are dedicated to saving pets. We need fosters to take care of pets in their home, volunteers to help with adoption events, sponsors to help pay for the care of special needs pets, and donors to help pay for everything else!
Come Meet our Pets:
All our pets are in foster homes, so meet and greets are done either at designated adoption events or by appointment. We are onsite at the Petsmart in Hurst by North East Mall on the weekends from 11 am to 4 pm, and various others locations throughout the month as well. Please check our calendar on our website for more information. www.texasadopts.org
If there is a pet you see online that you would like to meet, please email us and we will do our best to arrange a meet and greet as soon as possible.
Our Adoption Process:
We do require an adoption application with references and a signed contract upon adoption.Email is the best way to contact us about our pets.
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, immunizations, testing for FeLV/FIV, and deworming. We try to have all our pets stay in a foster home where we can get to know their personalities well and help make the best match for your family. Our normal adoption fee is $100 for kittens under 12 months, and $25-75 for cats over 12 months of age. Some pets may have part of their adoption fee sponsored as well.
